Residents who observe a sick or injured animal, regardless of species, should call Rockaway Township’s Animal Control Officer or the Rockaway Township Police Department. Animal Control may be reached at 973-983-2849 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. At all other times, please contact the Rockaway Township Police Department at 973-625-4000. For your safety, please remember to never handle a sick or injured animal - always contact Animal Control or the Police Department!
