Mayor Michael Dachisen is pleased to announce that Rockaway Township is sponsoring a Township Parks Clean Up Day on Saturday, October 28, from 9:00am – 11:00am, and volunteers are needed.
All residents, youth groups, scouting troops, community organizations, families, etc., are welcome to join in removing litter and beautifying Rockaway Township’s parks. Volunteers will meet at the Rockaway Township Gazebo at Parks Lake and will receive gloves, plastic bags, reusable bags and other promotional items. Children younger than 18 years of age must be under parental supervision.
Pre-registration is required. Please contact the Rockaway Township Division of Health at 973-983-2848 by October 23.
