Rockaway Township, Morris County, is seeking a full-time REHS to ensure compliance with relevant sanitary and health laws. Under direction, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field inspections, investigations and enforcement. Experience with retail food inspection, septic system installation and public complaint investigation preferred. Must possess valid REHS and NJ driver’s licenses. Appointment is provisional, subject to Civil Service regulations. Starting salary $39,000 - $50,000 and commensurate with experience.
