Rockaway Township Shade Tree Commission Accepts Nominations For Beautification Efforts
The Rockaway Township Shade Tree Commission is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Beautification Awards. The awards have been made annually since 1989 and are presented to property owners in the Township of Rockaway who have made special efforts in the design and planting of new landscaping or who have enhanced existing landscaping through the additional planting of shade trees, shrubs and/or flowers.
Nominations are accepted in the following categories: new commercial properties; existing commercial properties; new residential properties; existing residential properties and community projects.
Nominations must be made in writing and directed to: Edith Yates, Chairperson, Rockaway Township Shade Tree Commission, Municipal Building, 65 Mount Hope Road, Rockaway, NJ 07866.
All submissions must be received no later than Friday, October 26th.
