When I first took over as Mayor I made a commitment that
I would work towards enhancing the safety and security of our community as a
whole. Today I had the honor of swearing in our first class III officer for our
school system. This was achieved by working side by side with our Board of
Education and Superintendent. Great things get accomplished when we work
together.
