The 2020 Summer Playground Program will run for six weeks beginning June 29 and ending August 7. Rockaway Township’s Summer Playground Program will be held at Dwyer and Birchwood Schools for 2020. Due to planned improvements scheduled over the summer, camp cannot be held at Katherine D. Malone school in 2020. Registration for camp at Dwyer and Birchwood schools will be available on May 1, 2020 via CommunityPass (https://register.communitypass.net/rockaway/), and locations will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Summer Playground program is a 9:00 AM-12:00 PM Summer Camp run through the Rockaway Township Division of Recreation. Campers attend one of the local schools, take short trips for activities including bowling, laser tag and miniature golf!
The cost of Summer Playground Program is $55 per camper. Registration opens on May 1 each year. Registration is limited to residents of Rockaway Township. Parents are required to provide transportation for their child to and from the school each day. If you have questions, contact the Division of Recreation at 973-983-2841.
