Rockaway Township Announcement regarding collection of Bulk and Leaves, Brush, Grass
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic Waste Management has significantly reduced its “field” work force. Starting March 30,2020, they are temporarily suspending collection of Bulk Waste and concentrating on the essential service of curbside trash collection. Therefore, until further notice the April Bulk Collection is temporarily suspended.
The April 1,2020 start of curbside leave, brush and grass collection is still on track. Please have material out at the curb on your designated collection day. Please have material in proper container’s, leaves can be in paper bags (No Plastic Garbage Bags or Biodegradable Plastic Bags), brush 4’ in length 6” in diameter Max.tied and bundled not weighing more than 50lbs. Dirt, Mulch, Rocks, Tree Stumps, or Animal Waste will be rejected. Containers shall weigh no more than 50lbs.
