The Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clinic, is a three-hour program conducted by hundreds of recreation departments and youth sports agencies throughout New Jersey. It is specifically designed to meet the stipulations of New Jersey’s Little League law. Volunteer coaches who successfully complete the clinic are granted partial protection from potential lawsuits and their attendance is permanently recorded by the Rutgers Youth Sports Research Council.
