Recreation (Rec) Soccer is open to all Rockaway residents whose children are age appropriate. PALS meet once per week while older ages are typically 2 days a week between games and practices.
Recreation Soccer has moved to birth year rather than grade as follows:
2013 = PAL (Coed)
2012 = American (Coed)
2011 = National (Coed)
2009 & 2010 = International(Coed) Target is 7v7 on the field
Registration will go to wait list with a late fee after February 17,2018. Wait list will be cleared on a first come basis once teams are formed.
Players born in years 2008 through 1999 (still in HS) will be registered for the appropriate age group in the Rockaway Valley League. This is a recreation league that incorporates surrounding towns. Some travel to other towns will be involved.
The Age Groups for Rockaway Valley Soccer League areas follows:
2007 & 2008 = C Division
2005 & 2006 = B Division
2003 & 2004 = A Division
1999, 2000, 2001 & 2002 = AA Division
Cost for Recreation Registration is $65.00.
New Rockaway Valley players will have to purchase a jersey for $20.00.
