Picatinny Arsenal plans to fire a cannon beyond normal operating hours from April 10-12 as part of a plan to validate a new facility prior to it becoming operational.
The current testing plan, which is subject to vary, includes 26 cannon shots being fired over the three days. Most of the shots are expected to be fired on April 12. On all three days, testing will not start before 9 a.m., and testing is expected to be completed by approximately 6 p.m.
