The Rockaway Township Community might have questions regarding what happens following the unfortunate passing of our Mayor.
By statue and code, I will be serving as Acting Mayor until a successor Mayor is appointed. Acting Council President Patty Abrahamsen and I met with the Acting Business Administrator and Department Heads this morning to extend our support and assist in any way we can to ensure continuity of government with the least adverse impact to the Rockaway Township Community.
I have confidence that our Departments Heads and staff will continue to operate and provide the professional and efficient service that our residents are accustomed to.
