[ARCHIVED] Free Rabies Clinic

cat and dog

In accordance with N.J.A.C. 8:23A-4.1(a), the duration of immunity certified by the veterinarian must extend through at least 10 months of the 12 month dog/cat licensing period for a license to be issued. Dogs/cats with a duration of immunity against rabies that expires prior to the tenth month of the licensing period shall be revaccinated prior to issuance of a license.  In other words, if your dogs/cats rabies vaccine expires before November 1st of 2019, Rockaway Township requires that your pet get an updated rabies vaccine before they are licensed in 2019.

Please attend one of our FREE clinics that are being held on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at the Municipal Garages located at 540 Green Pond Rd.  OR Saturday, December 1st, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Municipal Garages located at 540 Green Pond Rd.
