[ARCHIVED] Take the Bite Out of Ticks

The Rockaway Township Division of Health is pleased to invite residents to a health promotion program entitled ‘Take the Bite Out of Ticks: Education, Awareness and Prevention.’ This educational program will be held on Monday, September 24, from 6:30pm – 7:30pm at the Rockaway Township Public Library, 61 Mount Hope Road, Rockaway.

Program attendees will learn how to: identify various species of ticks and their habitat, check family members and pets for ticks, and recognize symptoms of tickborne disease. Features speakers will be Michael Rosellini, Biologist with the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control, and Oluwatoyin Faphunda-Adekola, MD, of Atlantic Health Systems.
