Last year, the NJTPA and Morris County held a public officials’ briefing on a study underway to explore the potential elimination of 18 at-grade railroad crossings along the Dover & Rockaway Freight Railroad. Following formal review by NJDOT on the project’s purpose and need, we have scheduled a public meeting on Tuesday, October 16th from 4pm – 8pm at the Salvation Army at 76 North Bergen Street in Dover. The meeting is an open house, so anyone can come at any time, and there will be brief presentations at 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
