Spring Clean Up

Mayor Michael Puzio and the Rockaway Township Council are pleased to invite residents and community groups to participate in the Township’s second 2019 Spring Clean Up Day, scheduled from 9:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, May 18, 2019.

All volunteers will receive Clean Communities T-shirts and promotional items, and participating non-profit groups are eligible to receive a mini-grant for helping make Rockaway Township glitter. Volunteers will also be furnished with gloves, tools and bags for litter collection.

Township residents, families, youth groups, scouts and community organizations are invited to help remove litter from parks and lake areas. Participants younger than 18 years of age must have parental supervision.   Volunteers will meet at either Hudsonia Field. 524 Green Pond Road, Rockaway, or Egberts Lake Park, 864 Green Pond Road, Rockaway, on the day of the event.  Please contact the Rockaway Township Division of Health at 973-983-2848 to register.
