BOARD OF ASSESSMENT COMMISSIONERS FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS
(FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING ASSESSMENTS IN THE AREA EFFECTED BY THE BOWLBYVILLE SEWER PROJECT)
MEMBERS: All members shall be appointed by the Township Council, and shall servce until their successors are appointed. Vacancies shall be filled for their unexpired term only.
TERMS: Three full-members shall be appointed for (1) year terms. Two alternate-members shall be appointed for (1) year terms.
DUTIES: The Board of Assessment Commissioners is charged with the duty of making all assessments for benefits for local improvements within the Township in accordance with the duties imposed upon it by virtue of N.J.S.A. 40:56-21 through N.J.S.A. 56-54, inclusive and shall in addition have and exercise all of the powers authorized by the aforesaid statutes.
