Flag Football Sign Ups are still open.........Flag Football is open to all children in Kindergarten and 1st Grade, aged 5/6 as of August 1st.
The goal of our league is to provide a safe, productive and fun environment that enables children to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.
Play is non-contact and focuses on building physical and athletic skills by working on running, throwing, catching, agility and hand-eye coordination.
The season starts in mid-August and continues through the end of October.
Practice is held once a week (6:15pm) at Peterson Field and lasts approximately 1 hour.
Games are on Saturdays at Peterson Field and last approximately 1 ½ hours.
All players are issued a faux helmet (even though we are non-contact, kids bump their heads….), mouthpiece, pants and jersey. Parents are responsible for purchasing athletic cleats.
