A quick update regarding Summer Playground Program:
The Division of Recreation is working closely with the Board of Education to finalize locations for the 2020 Summer Playground program. Due to anticipated projects being completed at school campuses over the summer locations are not yet certain, but we’re working to provide fun and safe locations convenient to all residents. We anticipate more information by the end of February.
Anticipated dates this year are Monday through Friday, 9AM to 12PM, June 29 through August 7, with no camp held on July 3 in observation of Independence day. Camper registration will be available on May 1, through Community Pass. Returning camp counselor packets will be distributed to returning staff as soon as locations are finalized, and shortly after that an application will be made available for new staff on the township website.
