It’s with great regret that Rockaway Township Recreation has to cancel the 2020 Summer Playground Program. Summer Camp involves activities and group settings which have been prohibited by Executive Order, and we do not know when these activities will be safe to engage in again. We know that campers and parents were looking forward to the summer playground program, however we can’t responsibly bring large groups of kids and adults together without increasing the risk of spread of COVID-19. All campers, counselors and parents are encouraged to stay home, stay healthy and enjoy passive recreation facilities while maintaining social distance.
