Free Reusable Grocery Bags Offered by Rockaway Township
In recognition of New Jersey’s May 4, 2022 law banning grocery stores from providing plastic and paper bags, Rockaway Township is offering residents free reusable grocery bags. The bags are funded through Rockaway Township’s Clean Communities grant and in cooperation with the State’s ‘Bag Up NJ’ initiative. Bags are limited to one per family and are available as long as supplies last.
To obtain your free reusable bag, visit the Rockaway Township Municipal Building, 65 Mt. Hope Road, between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm.
