NJDEP Pilot Program - Bear Resistant Can Distribution:
Beginning Monday, August 26th, the remainder of the bear-resistant cans provided by the NJDEP will be available to all Township residents on a first come, first served basis, regardless of trash hauler. Residents interested in a bear resistant can should bring proof of residency to the DPW Garage, 540 Green Pond Road. DPW Hours Monday – Saturday 7:00am – 3:30 pm. Any resident who takes a can shall agree to participate in surveys regarding their bear-resistant can. August 22 – August 24th distribution will remain for Blue Diamond customers only.
