Your schedule is available on the Recycling webpage. Click on the “My Schedule” Tab and input your home address. You will be able to download and/or print your personalized collection schedule. You will also be asked if you would like to sign up to receive alerts and reminders. These notifications will alert you to regularly scheduled pick-ups as well as disruptions in service (due to weather or equipment failure) and notify of any special collections that may be added to the schedule. This is optional, but a very helpful tool to many of our residents.

Electronic items (televisions, monitors, radios, computer parts, etc.) can be brought to either of our Recycling Centers located at 540 Green Pond Road or adjacent to 65 Mount Hope Road and deposited into the electronics containers. These items must be recycled and cannot be disposed of in the trash. They will not be picked up curbside.

Yes! You no longer need to sort your recyclables! All materials can be put together in the same container for curbside pick. Please do not tie or bundle newspapers or cardboard. Cardboard that cannot fit into the same container as cans, bottles and newspapers can be flattened and placed next to the rest of your recyclables, or you may flatten and put cardboard in a manageable size box. No plastic bags please.

Newspapers, junk-mail, magazines and pamphlets can be recycled in the same bin as your cans, bottles and cardboard. You no longer need to sort them out. Please do not tie or bundle. If your newspapers do not fit conveniently in with your cans and bottles you can put them out loose in a separate reusable container, in a small cardboard box or paper bag. No plastic bags please.

Household Alkaline batteries (A, AA, AAA, C, D) batteries are not recyclable and can be placed in the trash. Rechargeable batteries can be recycled at either of our Recycling Centers by placing them in the electronics container (look for the designated area in the container). For rechargeable batteries – please place in a zip lock back or tape over the terminal.

Per Township Code 16-6.1 sidewalks are the responsibility of the landowner “The owner of any lands lying within the limits of the Township shall maintain and be responsible for the proper upkeep of that part of the street between the property line and the curb abutting his or her property, including corner areas adjacent to corner lots either within or without the property lines. Such upkeep shall include the proper maintenance and repair of the sidewalk in places where such sidewalk exists.”

The homeowner is responsible for the water service from the curb box shutoff to the house. The Utility is only responsible for the actual water meter after the curb box shutoff.

Homeowners and all contractors that are going to dig whether it is 1 inch or 12 feet deep need to make notification to the New Jersey one Call Center, please call 811.

Once dried out LATEX (water based) paint can be put in with your regular household trash. To speed up the drying process you may want to remove the lid and add sand or kitty litter and allow to dry for a few days. Once completely dried out you may deposit it in your trash. We will accept passenger tires, off the rim at our McVeigh Recycle site.

Any service station facility with service bays will accept used motor oil during working hours. The station may charge a fee. Do not mix oil with any other substance.

Step 4: Confirm the Amount to Pay & Accept Terms & Conditions At this step, you will be asked to confirm the amount to pay and accept the Terms and Conditions of this transaction. Step 5: Enter Contact & Payment Information Enter the contact information for the person paying the bill, as well as payment information and any additional information. Step 6: Confirm Details Confirm the information you provided in Step Number 4. This is your opportunity to go back and make any changes before submitting your payment. Step 7: Digital Receipt Receive your confirmation number and digital receipt. Once your payment has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation if you provide your email address.
